Align the hole with the edge of the vent pipe.
Installing the stove pipe 1 work from inside and fit the shorter horizontal section of pipe through the wall until the inner end is about two inches from the face of the wall.
Install a code approved non combustible hearth pad for the stove to rest on.
Step 1 find a location.
Choose a location for your stove pipe.
Place the pellet stove on top of the floor pad making sure to maintain the proper clearances from combustible surfaces.
A single wall stovepipe requires more clearance than a double walled stovepipe.

Temporarily attach the vent pipe to the stove then bore a inch pilot hole through the exterior house wall.
Measure your stove pipe and get its diameter.
Step 2 get the measurements.
The vent pipe is connected to an adapter at the back of the stove then run out through the wall adapter plate to a distance of at least six inches from the exterior wall.
The vent can travel out the back of the stove through the wall making it inconspicuous if not nearly invisible.
The stovepipe connects the stove to a chimney pipe which extends through the roof.
It is best to locate it 36 inches up the wall from the stove.
